I'm skipping Big Fat Friday this week, as one of my favorite lyricists is in town, and I thought I should post up some of his tunes to get this night started! I'll get some heavy bass to you later this weekend.

If you haven't heard Shad before... figure it out pal. I was lucky enough to catch him once after each of his last two albums, When This is Over and The Old Prince (If I'm on the ball with my hiphopology today). Now Peterborough has the chance to hear some of his newest album TSOL, which has been raising a ruckus across North America, many claiming Shad as one of the best Canadian rap artists of all time. There is no way I can disagree with that statement!

Here are some of my all time Shad faves. If you're going tonight, see you there. I'll be the gentleman near the front rocking out harder than the rest. Also, arrive early! My current band's vocalist, Danny Taro of Bears Beats will be opening along with DJ Who and you don't wanna miss him.
